New site, same as the old site

A quick programming note before we begin: This is the first edition of the newsletter powered by Ghost rather than Substack.

What does that mean for you? Honestly, not much! On your end, absolutely nothing should change. Your subscription remains exactly the same. You will get exactly the same emails and have exactly the same access as before.

If you prefer to read the newsletter on the website, all you'll have to do is click the "Sign in" button in the upper-right corner. And if you're reading this on the site and want to become a new (free or paid) subscriber, just click the "Subscribe" button in the lower-right corner. From now through the end of the regular season (April 13), you can get 25% off the first year of your subscription.

Those of you who are already paid subscribers will retain your access to the databases for Adjusted Efficiency, Aggression+, WAADE, and bSPARQ, while access to the Moreyball Rate and Possession Battle pages will remain public. All of those leaderboards can be found on the home page, and again, all you'll have to do to access them is click "Sign in" in the upper-right corner.

If you have any further questions about the switch, feel free to ask.

Given that we're in a new place with this newsletter and website, we're going to stay on theme and talk about newcomers. Every offseason, teams spend money and/or draft capital trying to upgrade their rosters, so we might as well devote at least some attention to a few of those attempts that worked out for the best.
