What's Up With That? The Warriors Without Steph

Have you heard of the Saturday Night Live sketch, “What’s Up With That?” It’s terrific, and one of my all-time favorites.
Basically, Kenan Thompson plays a ridiculous talk show host who brings on three celebrities for what are ostensibly promotions and/or interviews about “important issues” but instead of doing that, he just… constantly interrupts them to sing the show’s theme song instead, and he has a whole host of backup dancers and absurd guest appearances by preposterous figures, and he never actually gets to the interviews. One of the guests is also always Lindsey Buckingham, and he’s apparently been on a million times but never gets to do whatever it is he’s supposed to be doing there.
(Also, the show itself is called “What Up With That?” but Kenan singing the song says “What’s Up With That?,” which is one of my favorite details.)
It’s completely ridiculous. But it also raises a good question: What’s up with that? So I’m going to turn that question into a recurring feature here, and examine what’s up with a particular trend or statistical oddity around the league.
We’re starting today with this: The Warriors are out-scoring opponents with Steph Curry on the bench, and getting out-scored with him on the floor.
So… what’s up with that?
